Viewing procedure code details

To view detailed information on procedure codes, including clinical rules, recently used service dates, and benefit level summary:

1. Access the Subscriber Search screen as detailed in the Searching for a Subscriber topic.

2. In the Select Policy screen, click the + sign next to the subscriber's name (it changes to a - sign, as shown below). This expands the list to show the subscriber and any covered members or dependents.

3. In the "Procedure Codes" column, click the Look Up button for the subscriber/member whose code information you'd like to view.

This will display the Procedure Code Lookup screen, shown below.

4. To use the Procedure Code Lookup screen:

• • Enter the procedure code in the "Please enter the Procedure" field.

  • To search for details on multiple codes, click the + button to add a procedure code field (20 field maximum). To remove a field, click the - button.

  • Click the Go button to display the details on the procedure code(s). Click the button to the right of the code to display the detailed information, as shown in this example.

5. To close the Procedure Code Lookup screen and return to the previous screen, click the button in the upper right corner.
